About
Ignas Laugalis is a cinematographer working across commercial, music video, and feature film projects. From an early age, creativity was central to his life — whether building with Lego at three years old, drawing through most of his school years, or discovering editing before university, which made pursuing a BA in Film a natural path.
Over the past several years, Ignas has worked with both Irish and international brands to create distinctive visual campaigns for online and television audiences. He has shot global campaigns for Nike, Spotify, Netflix, Red Bull, Guinness, and Kellogg’s, among many others.
His work has been featured internationally on platforms including BOOOOOOOM TV, Shiny Network, and Directors Notes. Ignas is the recipient of the Best Cinematographer award at the EDA Awards 2024 and a Gold Kinsale Shark Award, and has been shortlisted for the 1.4 Awards, Berlin Commercial Awards, and Kinsale Shark Best New Talent International DOP (2023).
Ignas is known for a uniquely stylized and evocative approach to visual storytelling, with a belief that even the most mundane subject matter can be transformed into something visually compelling.
